Oakland Hebrew Day School is a Modern Orthodox Jewish day school providing excellence in Jewish education to the entire Jewish community. Our focus is on the needs of the whole child, fostering a love of learning and a strong sense of Jewish identity. We place equal emphasis on Judaic and general studies. We also recognize the significance of the State of Israel, and we inspire in our students an attachment to its people, as well as a sense of responsibility for their welfare. We instill the Middot (character) and critical thinking skills necessary for our students to become tomorrow’s Jewish leaders.
